Gracie Creek Pond

Just below the Gracie Creek Cabin lies the crystal clear waters of the Gracie Creek Pond.  Fed by the Ogallala aquifer, the Gracie Creek winds through the Sandhills until it is dammed up just short of the Calamus Lake.

The pond is stocked with trout and white bass and is prime fishing during most seasons.  Fly fishing is common in the spring and summer.  Trout fishing is very common in the winter and spring as the creek keeps many areas from freezing over.
