With over 20 miles of beach, just pick out a patch of shore to call your own and relax the day away. The kids will love their time as well swimming in the fresh, clean water or digging and building in the sand. Boats are not necessary as there are many areas to walk to the beach directly from your car.
The Calamus is also a hot spot for many variety of fish… especially walleye and catfish.
